Members of Council 6478 who have gone to rest.

Eternal Rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.  May their souls, and all the souls of the faithful departed; through the Mercy of God, Rest in Peace in company with Christ and may they rejoice in your Kingdom.

Obituary For Joe Mac Elliott

Joe Mac Elliott, 67, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 26, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. Joe was born in Cuero, TX on January 5, 1948. He graduated from N.E. High School in Oklahoma City in 1966, and then went to work for Cable Motors at the age of 18 where he worked the majority of his life. Joe was a member of the Catholic Church and was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. Joe met the love of his life, Evelyn Brueggen in the fall of 1983 through his sister, Jane. They were married at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche, OK on September 28, 1984, and established a home in Yukon. They were blessed with 3 children: Janie Elizabeth, Jessica Rose and Joseph Phillip. Joe is survived by his wife Evelyn of the home; daughters: Janie Elliott and Kevin Campbell and Jessica Elliott; son Joseph Elliott and wife Anna; four grandchildren: Kaleigh, Brady, Avery and Harlee Campbell, who were the lights of his life; sisters and brothers: Elsie Jean Chapman and husband Don, C.L. (Cecil) Elliott and wife Glenda, Elizabeth Jane Taylor and husband Jerry and Eilene Kitchens and husband Terry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Integris Hospice House, 13920 Quailbrook Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73134. Wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2015 with Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015. Both services will be held at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon, OK. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Okarche, OK.
