Obituary For Robert Dale Kendall
Robert D. Kendall went to be with his heavenly father on March 3, 2013 in Oklahoma City. Surviving is his loving wife Phyrne E. Nichols Kendall. They were married August 25, 1954. He was born May 15, 1934 to Robert N. and Doris Swisshelm Kendall, in the Snow Hill area near New Vienna. He graduated in 1953 from Wayne Twp. in Lees Creek, Ohio.
He is survived by two sons, Robert L. (Edith) Kendall of Oklahoma City and Joseph F. Kendall of Englewood Ohio. Two daughters, Dianne E. (Paul) Rezac of Prior Lake, Minnesota, and Beth Luquetta Lower of Yukon Oklahoma, father-in-law Harry Nichols of Yukon, Oklahoma, brother Alfred O. (Louise) Kendall of Sabina, Ohio, two sisters, Dorothy A. Taylor and Peggy L. Noftsger both of Wilmington, Ohio, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson James Robert Rezac, sisters Erma L. Crider and Letha M. Schroeder, brothers-in-law William E. Crider, Donald G. Taylor and mother-in-law Margaret Nichols.
He was a member of the St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon, Oklahoma. He belonged to the Odd Fellows of Wilmington, Ohio. He belonged to the antique clock club in Lebanon, Tennessee where he resided for many years. He loved working on old clocks and antique tractors. He was a great mechanic, loving to work on all types of engines.
